Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his role in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Though he has been active on both television and films however it is his roles on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fan following. He is able to play two characters, one from the perspective of the police as well as the different. This is the reason that makes him so popular. His initial project was a TV serial but he later played a detective for the NYPD. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is said to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered to be a trademark and helped in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. The year 2006 was the last time he was featured on People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
