Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles on the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. From the time he was at college Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in films and television, but it was his small-screen characters which gained him fame as well as an enormous audience. He's been able to effortlessly play roles of characters on both sides of the law to grab an audience's focus. He played the serial killer role in his debut television show and later played the role as an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received numerous nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards.
