Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently working with CNBC. She is anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street and 'Closing Bell'. A native of Ohio native and a native of Ohio, she wasn't too attracted to the world of markets and currencies when she was in college. She interned at ForexTV.com as in school at New York University. It is there that she garnered her first experience dealing with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. She then did a four-month-long work experience with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After returning to the US after which she started to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. Eventually, she became a anchor on television. CNBC brought her on in December 2013 to be an anchor. After working as co-anchor on "Worldwide Exchange" and Power Lunch', she was employed by CNBC in the month of December 2013. She then got the job at Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since 2014. She is among the most respected business journalists of the present. Since joining CNBC her main attention has been on global consumer news.
